The Wasaga River Dragons are proud to announce that former CaptainĀ Joel TexmoĀ and his brotherĀ Lucas TexmoĀ are returning to theĀ Columbus River Dragons of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL)!

Joel put together an outstanding season in Wasaga, recordingĀ 69 points in 39 regular-season games, while Lucas was a major presence on the blue line during his time with the River Dragons. (Elite Prospectsā )

Both brothers made the jump from Wasaga to Columbus and established themselves at the professional level, with Joel appearing in 49 games and Lucas in 41 games for Columbus during the 2025ā€“26 season.Ā 

Seeing two former Wasaga River Dragons continue their professional careers together in Columbus is another proud example of what the River Dragons program is all about ā€”Ā development, advancement and preparing players for the next level.
