RIVER DRAGONS MAKE FIRST TRADE IN FRANCHISE HISTORY
The Wasaga River Dragons have completed their first trade in franchise history, acquiring the playing rights of 03' Fwd Kaden Laverdiere and 03' D Devin Shoreman from the Bradford Bulls.
Last season saw Laverdiere lead the Bulls in regular season scoring with 65 PTS (24 G - 41 A). Prior to joining the Bulls, Laverdiere played two seasons in the NOJHL.
Our other acquisition is a veteran defenceman by the name of Devin Shoreman who was a 2022 Draft Pick of the Bulls but has yet to play a game in the GMHL. Last season Shoreman was the Captain of the Lindsay Muskies in the OJHL and has 3 years of JR A experience under his belt.
We are thrilled to add the pair of Jr hockey veterans to the organization as they can be a major part of the franchises leadership group and on ice success in our inaugural season!
