ARTUR KHARISOV Returns as Assistant Coach

🐉 FROM PLAYER TO COACH — WELCOME BACK, #15 ARTUR KHARISOV! 🐉

The Wasaga River Dragons are proud to announce that former River Dragon #15 Artur Kharisov is returning to the organization for the 2026/27 season — this time behind the bench as an Assistant Coach!

Artur was an important part of our group last season, bringing competitiveness, leadership, and a strong work ethic every time he stepped on the ice. Now, he’ll bring that same passion to our coaching staff as he begins the next chapter of his hockey career.

Artur has also truly made Wasaga Beach his new home, choosing to stay in the community full-time throughout the offseason and continuing to build strong connections both on and off the ice. Along with joining the River Dragons coaching staff, Artur will continue his playing career this season with the Elmvale Harvesters at the Senior A level.

Having someone behind the bench who has worn the River Dragons jersey and understands our culture is something we’re extremely excited about.
